Over time, wastewater treatment systems accumulate a large amount of sludge in the sedimentation tank. This sludge contains a high percentage of water and occupies a large volume. Transporting and disposing of wet sludge can be expensive. The Slurry Dewatering Equipment uses a plate-and-frame filter press to remove excess water from the sludge. The resulting filter cake contains significantly less moisture and has a much smaller volume. This helps reduce transportation and disposal costs. For smaller operations, the compact model is suitable. For larger systems, the high-capacity model can process more sludge per hour.
Two Capacities for Different Sludge Outputs
The small model measures 1600×800×1500 mm and processes 0.8 m³ of sludge per hour. The large model measures 3000×1200×1800 mm and processes 3 m³ per hour. The suitable model depends on your sludge production volume. Our engineering team will recommend the appropriate filter cloth material and pressing pressure based on your sludge characteristics, including oil content and particle size. This ensures effective dewatering performance. Before shipment, we test the hydraulic system, inspect the filter plate sealing, and verify the pressing performance. Production takes 10 to 30 days, and we accept orders starting from one unit.
Effective and Easy to Maintain
Many wastewater treatment systems are already using our Slurry Dewatering Equipment. It is commonly applied for paint booth wastewater sludge and grinding wastewater sludge treatment. Clients report that the filter cake has a lower moisture content and that disposal costs have been significantly reduced. Payment terms are 40% in advance and 60% before shipment.
