A dry-type spray booth (also known as a dry-type spray cabinet) is a piece of equipment designed to treat exhaust gases generated during industrial spray painting operations. It is primarily used to manage emissions from painting processes in sectors such as wooden furniture manufacturing, automotive parts, mechanical machining, electrical appliances, hardware processing, and the production of outer packaging for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
The equipment utilizes a combined structure featuring a baffle-type paint mist collection box and fiber filter media, achieving gas-solid separation through inertial separation technology. The filtration system comprises a V-shaped filter chamber made of two layers of foldable cardboard, eco-friendly filter media, and a honeycomb activated carbon adsorption layer, enabling a paint mist filtration efficiency of 98% or higher. The main structure consists of the cabinet body, an exhaust unit, and the paint mist collection and filtration system; the unit is assembled using bolted connections and features forklift-compatible base slots. It employs a modular design with adjustable dimensions and supports non-standard customization. Operating via a water-free dry purification process, the system offers low airflow resistance and low maintenance costs; the paper filters are individually replaceable and do not adhere to the paint. Certain models feature a design without powered components, offering a large filtration area and purification efficiency exceeding 90%. Purified air is discharged after undergoing treatment via activated carbon or photo-oxidative catalysis.
